Pool Players
We are in real need of pool players, and it is a very good entree to full time. You will be placed by age into one of our six team divisions. Each team usually plays twice per week and is almost always missing at least 1 player. The team captains will replace these guys using pool players. On many occasions you could also get calls from other captains who were not able to get enough players by going to their own pool. It is always your choice to play or turn down games if you are busy doing other things.
Sometimes you get a call a week ahead to play a game. This might be a case where the player has told his captain he is on vacation or is hurt. Also sometimes captains get last minute calls that a regular player will not make a game and he then needs to scramble a couple of hours before game time to find a replacement out of the pool. The cost is a $40.00 registration fee and $7.00 a game, sweaters are provided by your captain, however you can buy your own sweaters and socks.
